Melissa is a devoted force within In Unity We Rise C.I.C, bringing compassion, vision, and a strong commitment to supporting people through every stage of life. With a background rooted in community care and a deep understanding of the challenges families face, Melissa leads with both heart and expertise.
Her passion comes from years of working closely with individuals, parents, and children, helping them feel supported, uplifted, and empowered. Melissa believes that everyone deserves access to safe spaces, guidance, and opportunities to grow — and she works tirelessly to make that a reality.

Malika is the heart of In Unity We Rise C.I.C.
With deep lived experience, a strong understanding of real community challenges, and a lifelong commitment to helping others, she brings compassion, strength, and wisdom to every part of her role.
Malika’s journey has shaped her into someone who not only understands struggle, but also knows how to guide others through it. Her personal experiences have given her the ability to connect with individuals and families on a genuine level — meeting them where they are, without judgement, and helping them feel seen, heard, and supported.
As our Safeguarding Lead, Malika ensures every child, young person, and adult is protected, valued, and treated with dignity. She is dedicated to creating safe spaces where people can grow, heal, and rebuild confidence.
